Mushroom Grow Kits

Beginner mushroom blocks are mushrooms that will grow whether you with very little input. In most cases (depending on the environment) these mushrooms would grow just by cutting the block open, not even spraying them or doing anything else. Now depending on the environment, they might not grow well, requiring more humidity and maybe some fresh air, but they will grow.

Intermediate mushroom blocks are mushrooms that can be a little more finicky and require a little more patience and or preparation to get them to start growing. For example, Chestnut mushrooms often start pinning in places other than where the block is cut open. King Oyster and Black Pearl King mushrooms will be more difficult to grow without a fruiting chamber, but not impossible.

If you’ve never grown mushrooms, I recommend starting with a beginner mushroom block.
